Description:

Volunteers assisting at intake are responsible for many things including asking questions for information collection and verification, and documenting that information clearly and efficiently on the computer..  Intake volunteers may work with translators to obtain accurate information. This is a front line position and requires volunteers who like to work directly with public. This position requires a minimum age of 19, a commitment to regular shifts, and the availability to come in for training on their first shift. 

 

The following is required by all volunteers:

  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Comfortable clothing for working 
  • Long hair must be tied back
